Do My Results Align With Your Hypothesis?

I will love you until the sun expands to engulf the entire Earth and its neighbors. That is no exaggeration though it seems it might be because right away you think to yourself, “I will be 5 billion years dead when that red giant comes a’knocking and how could you love me that long, huh?, especially when we’re both dead, huh?” Good question and I appreciate the hell out of your logic-burdened mind but it helps in situations like this to think not like a scientist but rather a troubadour. Think of this love. Think of this love as that dying star, grasping, gasping, gulping for life and wholly unaware that its desire is at that moment the most destructive force in the solar system. Don’t think like a scientist. Think of this love. Think of this love as that long-ago ruined and abandoned Earth, floating in silent space, wondering if its children made it out alive, scared as hell to know with all certainty that there comes a fire so ferocious that all its ever known will dust to dust, will ash to ash. Think rather like a troubadour in situations like this. Think of this love. You must not think like a scientist in situations like this. You can not think like a scientist in situations like this. Think of this love. Think of this love as a pair of lovers on a planet light years away, astrophysicists by trade, perhaps, together watching the death throes of Helios through telescopic eyes, holding hands, kissing, smiling, sipping warm drinks, talking to each other about what it means to love someone forever despite all evidence to the contrary. Thinking like this is how we can say impossible things without exaggeration. Thinking rather like this.
